Mad Magic Kombucha

Mad Magic Kombucha started under the name MTO (Made to Order) Kombucha. While their product was great, their name and label did not resonate with consumers.

I bottled the personality behind their existing brand by creating a name and identity that conveyed both the health benefits of kombucha and the rather mad-man passion behind their traditional brewing process. For design, we garnered inspiration from apothecary and liquor bottles. Our brand work won multiple awards at the 2021 Richmond Ad Show.

With a fresher name, logo, packaging, and website, social media followers increased by 14%, impressions increased by 164%, and engagements increased by 102%. Website visits are up 236% year over year, and website purchases have increased 13X, with returns on ad spends as high as 2.4X.
